NLG Welcomes New Customer Service Manager

The National Laundry Group (NLG) is a network of 32 laundry services spanning the UK, that offers a range of services including linen rental and laundering of customer-owned goods. They operate modern laundries equipped with advanced technology to ensure high-quality service. NGL has a strong commitment to sustainability, with a focus on reducing waste and improving efficiency in their operations.

Last month NLG welcomed Clare Hill as their new Customer Service Manager to strengthen their leadership team as they continue to grow.

Clare brings an abundance of experience from the automotive industry, having built a career firmly rooted in customer service and aftercare. With a strong focus on resolving issues, strengthening customer relationships and enhancing service standards, Clare has successfully evolved her expertise from B2C environments into the B2B space, a transition that has equipped her with a well-rounded and adaptable approach to customer care that will be a valuable skill for her new role.

CEO, Alastair McCrae, also shares: “I am delighted to welcome Clare Hill as our new Customer Services Manager. Clare has a wealth of experience in customer service and will be a great asset to the business. She is currently traversing the country visiting our member laundries and is being well received by everyone”.

Clare explains that NLG immediately stood out to her when she came across the role: “The job description advertised really caught my eye, as NLG were looking for someone to do exactly what I enjoy doing, looking after customers. With the potential for personal growth as the role develops, I am excited to support NLG which has always been underpinned by fantastic customer service.”

In her first two weeks with the business, Clare has already gained valuable insight into both the role and the industry and is feeling confident about the opportunity ahead. She adds: “I have already met with people who are knowledgeable, helpful and genuine, which has been invaluable for someone entering a new industry. The support and openness I’ve experienced so far has been incredibly encouraging.” With Clare’s strong commitment to achieving nothing but the best, it is clear she will flourish in her new role at NLG.
